Background and Objective: Shabil hot spring, located in Meshkin district of Ardabil province, has numerous attraction properties that give it a distinctive rank among the recreational areas of Ardabil. Estimating the outdoor recreational value of this area is more important and allows decision makers to better realize the environmental values and enables them to devise appropriate development programs for ecotourism. This study was carried out to survey the outdoor recreational value of Shabil hot spring. Method: To achieve the objectives of the study, the contingent valuation method is applied. Moreover, Logit model with maximum likelihood was used to determine the variables that affect willingness to pay of individuals. The primary data was collected by 384 questionnaires which have been completed by visitors of Shabil hot spring. The offered amount of willingness to pay was designed by single bounded dichotomous choice. Findings: The per capita average of willingness to pay was estimated to be about 36, 800 Rials and the outdoor recreational value of the spring was calculated as 10, 303, 748, 000 Rials. Discussion and Conclusion: It is expected that increasing the income and providing the public welfare facilities are important factors to enhance willingness to pay based on the significance of income in the estimated model and the information acquired from the visitors.

Golestan national park is one of the oldest protected areas in Iran as well as in the world. This park benefits from a high diversity of physical features as well as rich flora and funa due to its special geographic location. It is also visited by many tourists, because of its bio-diversity, natural scenic landscapes and lying along side Asian Highway.In this research, qualitative and quantitative criteria of design were obtained from and based on comp rehensives of Golestan National Park, design standards for outdoor recreational areas, national parks regulations as well as landscape ecology approaches.So, a design of Golshan outdoor recreational zone was performed on the basis of results, and targets (conservation, educational activities, and outdoor recreational development) and with a minimum of intervention in natural conditions.

Valuating the non-market environmental functions and services including tourism is important for many reasons including understanding the ecological benefits, providing the country's environmental issues to the planners, modifying the national computing system such as gross national product and preventing the destruction and excessive exploitation of natural resources. The aim of this research is the estimation of the recreational value of Abar watershed using a contingent valuation method. To investigate the factors affecting willingness to pay of individuals, the logit model was estimated using maximum likelihood estimation. Required data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that overnight stay, family cost, and satisfaction of welfare services were significant (P<0. 05), affecting the WTP. The mean of WTP for recreational value of this rangeland was calculated to be 8096 Rials per visitor. According to the results, the Abar Watershed has considerable recreational values. Thus, these values provide enough justification for policymakers to maintain the quality of natural resources and avoid degrading rangeland resources.

This paper aims to measure recreational value and willingness to pay for Chahnimeh recreational site which is located in Zabol in Sistan and Baloochestan province. For this purpose, contingent valuation method was used. Also, logit model was estimated to find out factors affecting willingness to pay of people who visited Chaahnimeh. Data were collected from a sample of 142 visitors through filling up questionnaires and interview in spring of 2011. Results showed that 93% of visitors were willing to pay for visiting Chahnimeh. Also, coefficients of proposed amount, income, gender, and occupation, number of visits and interest to maintain Chahnimeh environment were significant at 5% level. The average willingness to pay for each visit was 3,920 Rials and annual recreational value was 1.568 billion Rials. Number of annual visits had negative effect on the amount of willingness to pay. Finally, some recommendations are made to improve present situation.

Today, with the increasing attention of economic policy makers to economic development and growth, and less attention to the effects of this growth and development, we are witnessing the destruction of environmental goods. One reason for the lack of attention to environmental issues is the lack of awareness of their actual value. So, environmental studies can be helpful. In this study, we want to determine the factors affecting the willingness to pay for visitors of Nazhvan Park which is located near the Zayandehrood River. Results from 313 questionnaires were completed from visitors and estimating Logit model shows that the offer price variable at 1%, sex and numbers of visits variables were significant at the 10% level. Finally, the average willingness to pay for recreational use of the Nazhvan Park visitors, was calculated to 1530 Rials. Given that women are more willing to pay, so building the parks for ladies in the city has economic justification. This means that costs of keeping the park can be met from visitors. Numbers of visits variable is significant and has positive impact on willingness to pay. So, improving transportation system for better access to the Park can increases non market valuation of Nazhvan Park and visitors' satisfaction.

In this research, the recreational value of the Radio-darya coast of the Chalous coastline was estimated, alongside the measure of visitors' willingness-to-pay (WTP), by using a contingent valuation (CV) method and dichotomous choice (DC) questionnaire. WTP was measured by using a Logit model which parameters were estimated based on the Maximum Likelihood (ML) Model for the year 2009. The results show that 65 percent of investigated individuals will pay for recreational usage of the aforementioned coast. The average WTP is 1169 Rials (about 1 USD) for each visit. Recreational monthly value of this coastal region is more than 37.75 million Rials (about 3230 USD); to be precise, the total annual recreational value of this area is estimated to be about 453 million Rials. Furthermore, the variables of "offer" and "visitors' income" are statistically significant at the level of 1%; so, these two variables are considered as the most important factors affecting visitors' WTP. The next factor influencing their WTP, from the point of view of visitors, is the quality of the coast (coastal neatness and water limpidity) which is significant at the 1% statistical level. Level of education is the next effective factor with significance at the 10% level. Moreover, distance between the coast and place of residence is the next factor affecting WTP negatively at the 10% level.

Forests play a significant role in human beings welfare. Most of forest benefits either is valued in low price is or is not accounted at all. This under-valuation often leads to inadequate allocation of resources and incorrect forest management and planning for forest maintenance. Recreational use of forest is one of the important benefits of forest. Kohgiluye and Boyer Ahmad province has vast forests which have provided suitable grounds for recreational use of people in society. The goal of this study is to estimate recreational value of Yasouj forest park and the amount of visitors willingness to pay. The data was collected by random sample from questionnaires based on contingent valuation (CV) and double-bounded dichotomous choice (DC) from 188 visitors of Yasouj forest park. Logit model was used to determine effective factors in individual willing to pay (WTP), based on maximum likelihood method. Findings of the study showed that 86.9 percent of visitors were willing to pay for visiting forest park. Results showed that bid, income, education and household size variables had significant effect on WTP. The mean amount of willingness to pay was 992.73 Rls. per visitor and total annual recreational value for yasouj forest park was 7.43 billion Rls.
